CIY MOVEJuly 9th-13th LOCATION: Lee University (9th-12th Grade)
MOVE is more than just another conference or camp – it’s an experience! It’s an all-inclusive event providing food, lodging, recreational activities and an amazing program. Adult leaders are provided small group materials prior to the event, and then meet with CIY staff each morning to go over each day’s lesson. And MOVE curriculum is made available to all groups after the event. This includes curriculum that will take your students deeper into MOVE’s theme for four more weeks. MOVE is committed to helping students take their mountaintop experiences beyond the event by challenging them to become Kingdom workers. To encourage that commitment, each student has the opportunity to open a Kingdom worker card on the last day of MOVE. On that card is a challenge to complete something over the next year, no matter how difficult the task.
CIY MIXJune 25th-28th LOCATION: Tennessee (6th-8th Grade)
MIX is a four-day summer event specifically designed for students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. It is intentionally crafted in ways that will engage middle school students through tactile, interactive and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction. MIX is an event that understands middle school students need their own experience. This age group is at a unique time in their lives – they’re growing and learning different than any other age group. They’re still young enough to need to play, but old enough to start understand some core ideals that will stay with them the rest of their lives. For this reason, MIX isn’t designed for high school students, or for preteens. It’s specifically designed for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students – it’s their chance to be exactly who they are: to play, listen and learn as themselves. It’s also created for adult leaders to build relationships with students that will last long after the MIX experience. At MIX, your students will come to understand their identity in God’s Kingdom, and be challenged to embrace the Kingdom work He has prepared for them.
School's End RetreatMay 29th LOCATION: CAMP
School is out! We want to provide a trip for the students to unwind and prepare for the summer. We will spend this time reflecting on the previous year, sharing our ups and downs and looking at how God has worked the whole time! Students will go home feeling refreshed and having goals for the summer and the new School year.
2018 Mission Trip ENGAGEJune 18th-22nd LOCATION: TBD
Engage Domestic is a four-day trip that trains groups for a life of Kingdom work through service, worship, and age intentional training. Jr. high and high school students experience hands-on Kingdom worker training during Engage’s four-day Domestic trips.
Student Service Day!Next date TBD
Our students join together once a month to complete a service project together. We want our students to cultivate a desire to serve our community in various ways. Our prayer is that our students will learn more of what it means to truly love others as Jesus did.
